THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO BEGINNERS

If you've never played before: come watch, learn the rules, and experience the flow of play

Q: I’ve never played pickleball before. Can I still join?

A: Absolutely! This event is beginner-friendly. We’ll have court monitors and friendly faces around to help you learn the ropes. Whether you're brand new or a seasoned pro, you're welcome here.

Q: What if I don’t have a partner?

A: No problem! If you register as a single, we’ll match you with another participant. It’s a great way to meet someone new and enjoy the game.

Q: Is this a competitive tournament or just for fun?

A: Paddle Battle is all about having a good time, getting active, and bringing the community together. There will be some light competition and prizes for winners, but the focus is fun, movement, and connection.

Q: What should I bring?

A: Here's your checklist:

  • Water bottle (we’ll have some refill jugs too)

  • Chair for shaded seating (popups will be up!)

  • Sunscreen and hat (we’ll be outside)

  • Paddle (if you don’t have one, we’ll have extras available)

  • Your game face and good vibes

Q: Will there be food and drinks?

A: We’re planning to have something light and breakfast-related available — details are still being finalized, but rest assured there will be something to fuel your morning. Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the event!

Q: Is there a schedule or bracket I can look at?

A: We’ll post the schedule and brackets onsite to keep everyone in the loop. There will also be court monitors available to answer questions and help keep everything moving smoothly.

Q: Can I bring friends or family to watch?

A: Definitely! Spectators are welcome. Bring a chair and cheer on your people — the more the merrier.

Q: Is this event connected to Mother's Day?

A: Yes — Paddle Battle lands right on Mother’s Day weekend, and what better way to celebrate than some movement, sunshine, and a little friendly competition? Come play, connect, and enjoy.
