One-on-one physical therapy for active adults in Sonora — built around your goals, not just your diagnosis, so you can move without limits again.
Sonora patients trust us with their recovery — see why they keep coming back.
Real patients, real results — shared for everyone thinking about starting their own journey.
Most patients come to us after a frustrating experience somewhere else — rushed visits, generic exercises, and a plan that never quite fit. Here's what changes when you work with us.
Every plan is built by a real person who knows your name, your story, and your goals — not a rotating cast of providers.
Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist and national instructor in hands-on care and movement assessment.
She believes the body is built to move, heal, and adapt — and uses that belief to help patients rebuild the confidence to live an active life again. Ellora is a certified instructor in Active Release Technique, the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, The Running Clinic, and StrongFirst, giving her a rare blend of hands-on treatment skill, movement assessment, and strength training expertise. That range lets her meet patients wherever they're starting from — whether that's their first pain-free step or their next personal record.
24 years in practice and former healthcare director for professional triathletes.
Dr. Maggs co-founded Peak Performance Care after decades split between clinical practice, teaching, and competing. He's led instruction for Active Release Techniques since 2012 and directed the USA division of The Running Clinic from 2015–2021, and has spoken at physical therapy and chiropractic conferences internationally. A lifelong athlete himself — high school and college sports, years of hockey, multiple marathons, half-Ironmans, and three full Ironman triathlons — a large part of his practice is devoted to runners and athletes working to stay in the game.
Exercise Science background with a passion for helping people build strength that lasts.
Jonah grew up in Tuolumne County and earned his degree in Exercise Science from Cal State Monterey Bay. An old soccer injury from high school sparked his interest in helping people of every age strengthen their bodies and avoid the injuries he went through himself. He believes movement is medicine — and when he's not coaching in the gym, you'll usually find him in the mountains skiing, hiking, or kayaking.
Recovery isn't one appointment — it's a path. Here's exactly how we get you from pain to performance, and stop it from coming back.
We don't mask symptoms — we find what's actually causing your pain. Your first visits are built to bring relief quickly, often within just a few sessions, plus simple tools to use in between.
Once your pain is under control, we rebuild what injury or inactivity took from you — strength, flexibility, and mobility — so the pain cycle doesn't get a chance to return.
The final phase keeps you there. We equip you with strategies to prevent setbacks and keep you moving confidently — back to work, back to sport, or just back to living pain-free.
